couple of times between 1989-1994.\u00a0 This is where I started to realize I was sensing spirit now that I look back.\u00a0 Only, at this time I was still viewing them as the &#8220;Boogyman&#8221; that was going to get you.\u00a0 I was still terrified to be in the dark like when growing up.\u00a0 You know what I&#8217;m talking about.\u00a0 That two-step you do to walk fast through the dark?<\/p><p>This home was built around the 1910s &#8211; 1920s.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll have to look it up in the census to verify exactly.\u00a0 This home belonged to my Mother and Father-in-law.\u00a0 My MIL often told me that every time they began their updating of the home, experiences would ramp up.\u00a0 She said the attic light would often come on.\u00a0 They checked on the electric to make sure there were no issues and there was never an explanation for them to just come on.\u00a0 Not to mention, these were the old-time switches where you had to push the button hard to get them to come on.<\/p><p>What I mostly felt in the home was on the front set of stairs.\u00a0 I would walk up them on the way to my bedroom and I just felt something there.\u00a0 I had to walk quickly up the steps with my arm stretched out behind me.\u00a0 It felt like someone, or something was following me up the stairs.\u00a0 It made me feel incredibly creeped out.\u00a0 Especially when I had to walk up the stairs in the dark.\u00a0 Turning on the light was not an option because our baby was sleeping in the middle room that did not have doors and it would wake him up.<\/p><p>My oldest son had an experience in the home.\u00a0 He was 3 years old.\u00a0 He went downstairs one early morning to be with his Grandma and started telling her that Grandpa was upstairs in their bedroom.\u00a0 She told him over and over, your Grandpa isn&#8217;t home.\u00a0 My Father-in-law spent a good amount of time down in New London area in a place he rented because he worked down there long hours.\u00a0 The trip back every day would have been too much.\u00a0 My son was insistent that he was there.\u00a0 So his Grandma brought him up to her bedroom to show him.\u00a0 No one of course was there.\u00a0 But he saw someone.<\/p><p>To continue this particular strange occurrence, the same morning his Dad had an experience also.\u00a0 I woke up early and went down to see how my son was doing and they told me what had happened.\u00a0 I went back upstairs to tell his Dad about it and he asked me, &#8220;Did Brett come into our room this morning?\u00a0 Does he have black pants to his knees and knee-high socks?&#8221;\u00a0 I replied, no, he is wearing red plaid pajama bottoms.\u00a0 He went on to say he saw a small boy standing next to the bed.\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t our son.\u00a0 He was downstairs the whole time.\u00a0 I am not sure what was going on that particular day, but an old man and a little boy decided to show themselves.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
