elementor - v3.21.0 - 15-04-2024 *\/\n.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-stacked .elementor-drop-cap{background-color:#69727d;color:#fff}.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-framed .elementor-drop-cap{color:#69727d;border:3px solid;background-color:transparent}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap{margin-top:8px}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap-letter{width:1em;height:1em}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap{float:left;text-align:center;line-height:1;font-size:50px}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap-letter{display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t<p>I was born and raised in Norfolk, Va. \u00a0Throughout my life, I was deathly afraid of the dark. \u00a0Looking back, I now see I always had a sense of someone around me that I could not see. \u00a0Not understanding spirits and hearing that spirits are evil, made me feel uneasy and scared. \u00a0<\/p><p>Later, I got married, had kids, and moved to Connecticut where my husband grew up. \u00a0We lived with his parents in a home built in the 1910s. \u00a0I continued to feel a presence. \u00a0The house had two sets of stairs and all was fine going up the set from the kitchen, but the front stairs to our bedroom were different. \u00a0I always walked up with my arm reached behind me because I felt someone following me. \u00a0It always caused me to take the stairs a bit faster than normal. \u00a0Our first son at the age of three saw an old man in his grandparents&#8217; bedroom. \u00a0He was very adamant that &#8220;grandpa&#8221; was in there, but when his grandma went to look, no one was there. \u00a0We later bought a house built in 1890 and thankfully, I never felt anything there, until my 3-year-old son passed away in our home. \u00a0I often felt him tap me on my shoulder, I could smell him near me, and he always sent ladybugs even to this day.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">STEPPING INTO THE PARANORMAL WORLD<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>In 2004, the television show Ghost Hunters premiered. \u00a0It started my quest to understand the spirit world. \u00a0I must admit, since then, I have become a paranormal junkie. \u00a0I&#8217;ve watched every episode of Ghost Hunters and then later Ghost Adventurers. \u00a0And yes, at this point in time, I have watched every episode of just about all the paranormal shows out there. \u00a0Too many to name! \u00a0I have come to understand the spirit world on a whole new level. \u00a0Sitting in the dark, wanting to speak to them does not frighten me anymore. \u00a0I welcome it. \u00a0I want to know their stories. \u00a0Their histories and stories mean something to me.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">MY TRAINING LED ME TO NOT FEAR<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>So, you may ask how did I get to a place of not fearing them. \u00a0I have made my life studies about understanding the world around us. \u00a0Both seen and unseen. \u00a0I am a very spiritual person becoming a Devine Light Reiki Practitioner and a Meditation Teacher. \u00a0I am currently studying Kundalini and Yoga through the Yogamu Institute. \u00a0I have come to understand the aspect of my being a highly intuitive and sensitive empath and see it as a gift. \u00a0My training has further helped me to find peace with the unseen world and it drives me to help others understand it and not fear it.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">TAROT AND ORACLE READING<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>I have a tarot deck that I bought in the 1980s that I had always felt overwhelmed about learning. \u00a0Thankfully, I came across a psychic medium on TikTok named Miss Molly Knows. \u00a0She taught me that I can read them intuitively and it opened my senses completely. \u00a0I have come to really love oracle cards because I seem to tap into my intuition more during my readings. \u00a0My whole focus is to 0pen others up to the possibilities that they can change their lives for the better. \u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">MEDIUMSHIP<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>I have not called myself a medium simply because it has not been a focus to offer services such as this but rather use my senses to help with investigations. \u00a0I have learned that my mediumship abilities are clairaudience, claircognizance, clairsentience, and clairempathy. \u00a0I am slowly coming into this aspect of myself to become more comfortable and accepting of this ability.\u00a0 \u00a0I have been reading every book I can get my hands on and recently took a class with one of my favorite Mediums from the shows The Holzer Files and Dead Files, Cindy Kaza.\u00a0 I look forward to more classes with her.<\/p><p>As time goes on, this will become stronger as I learn how it works for me. \u00a0Recently, I sensed an elderly woman at a restaurant and she gave me the name Jaime. \u00a0After researching the area, there was an automobile accident where an elderly couple died after being hit by a drunk driver named Jaime. \u00a0I&#8217;m guessing she gave me that name because the names of the victims were withheld. \u00a0Another encounter was at work. \u00a0One of our coworkers passed away a few months before and one thing he loved doing was sneaking up behind someone and scaring them. \u00a0While I was at the register he worked on doing my closing readings, I felt someone rushing up behind me. \u00a0There was no one there and I felt it was him still playing around. \u00a0These occurrences are exciting and I am enjoying working on my abilities. \u00a0I look forward to other investigations.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">WHAT I OFFER DURING AN INVESTIGATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>The history of a place I investigate is just as important as finding who still haunts the area. \u00a0I want to learn what messages or stories that need to be heard with the hopes of finding peace. \u00a0 I use Reiki to bring divine light and peace to both the current and past residents. \u00a0Bringing an understanding of the world around us while alleviating fear is a goal.
